Search continues for missing Gospel Ministries Intl. pilot
In February, a plane with six passengers flown by Bob Norton, a pilot with Gospel Ministries International, disappeared into dense jungle in Venezuela. To date no sign of the missing people has been found.
The Venezuelan government carried out an extensive search and rescue operation for 16 days. Other search efforts have been ongoing since the presumed crash.
Recently, a group of individuals met in the United States to plan a strategy for further search efforts. Based on a number of factors, primary and secondary search zones were established.
Should new information be discovered the Venezuelan authorities can resume the search, as the case is still considered open.
The group also spent a lot of time in prayer—for the health of the search team in jungle as they face malaria and difficult terrain (pictured), for clear skies as imaging satellites scan the jungle and for God’s guidance throughout the search.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated as well.
